Japanese car manufacturer, Nissan Motors, will decide whether or not to make its new Qashqai model in Britain or elsewhere since Britain’s Brexit decision. After speaking with Prime Minister Theresa May, CEO Carlos Ghosn was reassured that Britain’s government would be “extremely cautious” to preserve the competitiveness of Nissan’s factory in northern England. After the Brexit vote, Ghosn threatened that Nissan would halt investment by one third.
