A Syrian refugee hacked a pregnant woman to death, assaulted a 51-year old woman, a 41-year old man, and a 23 year-old man in Reutlingen, Germany. The name of the 21-year old attacker and 45-year old pregnant lady have not been released. The victim and attacker worked in the same restaurant. The other victims were not known to the attacker and were randomly selected. The restaurant owner knew the offender for several weeks. The perpetrator attempted to escape but was run over by a passing car. The police arrested the suspect and he is in custody. There is no evidence that this is a terrorist attack. Source: Jolanta K, 45 year old mother of four, moved to Germany just one year ago after a divorce. Her children are aged 23, 22, 19. and 8. The Syrian asylum seeker, named Muhamed, had reportedly fallen in love with Jolanta. She spurned his advances. Fellow employees described him as acting “weird.” Police knew him because he caused previous injuries to others. Update: 7/28/16: Ex-husband demands justice
Pawel Gradzki, the former husband of Jolanta Kijak demands that the attacker receive the death penalty. They were married three years and he is the father of three of her children. Rafal Kijak was her second husband and the father of her youngest child. They separated after his business went bankrupt and Mr. Kijak had a breakdown. Jolanta’s four children (Sylvia, 22, Daniel, 23, Dawid, 19, Oliwia, 8) gathered at the family home to pay respects to their mom.
